Here at 1st Priority Bail Bonds, we aim to make the bail process easy and understandable from the get go. When you make bail with our company you’re entering a contract and agreeing to the release of the bailee from the custody of law enforcement officials to await trial outside of jail, free to continue working and living in the comfort of their own home.
Many of our clients find themselves unable to post the full amount of their bail for their release. When you go through a bail bond agency you as a client are only required to pay a 10% to 8% premium as opposed to the full amount of bail the court requires.
An example would be:
- A man goes to jail for a DUI and is given the capacity to post bail for 50,000 dollars.
- He’s required to pay the court 50,000 dollars to hold to assure the court he’ll return for his specified court date.
- Unable to afford the full bail, he works with a bail agency, and a 10% to 8% non refundable premium is paid.
- After which a surety company immediately provides the rest of the money owed to the court and he\’s released.
With this in mind, after the bailee is released he must appear in court on the specified date or a warrant for his arrest will be issued.
1st Priority Bail Bonds offers a number of helpful services to assure it’s clients the bailee can easily return for their court date. We text, email, or call to remind our customers of their upcoming appearances if requested, as well as provide transportation to and from their appearances if need be.
